Samara Weaving, the scream queen from Ready or Not and Scream VI, shines in this (almost) dialogue-free horror film that just keeps pummeling the viewer with action sequences. The camera stays close to Weaving, creating an overwhelmingly sensory experience. We are thrust into this unknown post-apocalyptic world, guided only by ominous religious title cards. Azrael’s survival skills turn out to be more than sufficient as she faces one frightening monster after another, both human and non-human. Experience how blood curdling a silent scream can be.
