Eleven-year-old Mara, a foster kid who can navigate nightmares, must save her town's comatose residents. Among them is six-year-old Ned who is trapped in an alien abduction dream. Teaming up with Sgt. Libo, Mara comes face to face with the Nightmare Creator while confronting her own buried past and the sinister Mayor Doesgood. 

NightMara mixes the adventurous essence of Young Adult fiction with the outrageous, campy gore of Troma films like The Toxic Avenger. Imagine Lloyd Kaufman's wild creativity fused with psychedelic VR animation, all haunted by the irreverent spirit of South Park.
