Imagine Fantastic Film Festival is back with a full festival at LAB111 and the FilmHallen in Amsterdam-West.

The main part of the general film programme will be shown in the FilmHallen, whereas other festival activities such as lectures, workshops, exhibitions and films related to specific themes will mainly take place in LAB111. LAB will turn into a space for experiments and in-depth programming, after which thoughts and opinions can be shared in Bar Strangelove. Our impressive Expanded programme with VR, XR and much more can be found in Galerie Beeldend Gesproken, directly opposite the FilmHallen.

Where to go

Location information can be found on the tickets & venues page. In a nutshell, the festival’s two main film locations are the FilmHallen and LAB111, with VR/Expanded at Galerie Beeldend Gesproken and side programming at Mezrab, OBA de Hallen Café Belcampo (Amsterdam Public Library) and WG Café in Amsterdam. We also have two satellite locations in the run-up to the festival: Forum Groningen and KINO Rotterdam.

How to get tickets

Ticket sales are going live go 3 October through our website. Just pick a screening in the block schedule or browse the entire programme. During the festival, tickets can also be bought at one of the festival registers. Regular screenings start at €13,50, specials may cost a bit more. Cineville card holders can go to most of the festival for free. Check the programme details for pricing, and the tickets page for more info on discounts and passes.
