It all began in 1984, at the Alhambra Theater on the Weteringschans: the very first Weekend of Terror. Of course, a celebration of 40 years of Imagine Fantastic Film Festival wouldn’t be complete without a tribute to its origins! You’ll be treated to a talkshow and quiz with the tallest tales from the olden days about the early years of the Weekend of Terror and how the festival progressed from there, with two former Imagine directors: ‘Mr. Horror’ Jan Doense and Phil van Tongeren. The talkshow will be hosted by former Imagine programmer Lauren Murphy.
