Watching stars during the festival, just on the sidewalk at EYE.

At Imagine we don’t just talk to you about traveling to Mars, we also show you the red planet with your own eyes! Thanks to staff and students from the Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy, the astronomy institute of the University of Amsterdam, you can look at science fiction films outside EYE.

With a number of telescopes at the entrance to EYE they show you, among other things, the craters of the moon, and later in the evening also Mars and perhaps a deep sky object or two. Of course you can’t look through a thick cloud pack, so go for a crystal clear sky.
